Tuesday with The Insider..

20130611-171807.jpgToday, I hanged out with my blogger-and-friend-in-crime Rikke (theinsider.dk) for a quick lunch in the sun…Nothing like, catching-up and slurping the sun with a good friend! I really enjoy her company! Her honesty, sense of humor (, good looks..hehe) and girl power is just what I like in a woman.. (as a friend of course!)! ;-) We have a couple of events that we are attending together during the week, so you will probably be seeing her pretty face a little more…

DK: I dag, har jeg hængt ud med min blogger-og-veninde-in-crime Rikke (theinsider.dk) til en hurtig frokost i solen … Jeg nyder virkelig hendes selskab! Hendes ærlighed, humor (, gode udseende .. hehe) og girl power er lige hvad jeg kan lide hos en kvinde .. (som en veninde selvfølgelig!)! ;-) Vi skal til et par events i løbet af ugen, så du vil sandsynligvis se hendes smukke ansigt lidt mere …

Keeping it real in danish & english…. Read why..

20130525-164550.jpgAs you know, I’m located in Copenhagen, Denmark… Since I launched my blog 1 year and 5 months ago, I chose to write in english, because my first language is english, and it’s easier for me to speak freely, then in danish and french… 5-6 months ago, I moved my blog from the WordPress newsfeed, because I wanted to be able to manage my site by myself, rather then being limited. Therefor, I moved the blog and choose the self-hosting  solution to my restricted-blogger-freedom… Unfortunately, the result of that was that I lost many followers… which made me really sad… :-( So, in a way, I’ve started from scratch, because I no longer was a part of a newsfeed, other then Bloglovin, of course. Furthermore, I have noticed that I have many danish or Skandinavian readers/followers, and that’s why I have chosen to also write in danish.. To all my Skandinavian readers, I hope this is something you appreciate as much as I do… ;-)

DK: Som mange af jer ved, så bor jeg i København … Da jeg startede min blog 1 år og 5 måneder siden, valgte jeg at skrive på engelsk, fordi min første sprog er engelsk, og det er nemmere for mig at tale frit, end på dansk og fransk … 5-6 måneder siden, flyttede jeg min blog fra WordPress newsfeed, fordi jeg ønskede at være i stand til at styre mit site selv, snarere end at være begrænset. Hertil, valgte jeg self-hosting istedet… Desværre var resultatet, at jeg mistede mange følgere.. hvilket gjorde mig virkelig trist … :-( Så på en måde har jeg startet fra bunden (igen). Desuden har jeg bemærket, at jeg har mange danske eller Skandinaviske læsere, og det er derfor jeg har valgt også at skrive på dansk .. Til alle mine Skandinaviske læsere, jeg håber det er gør en forskel.. :-)

Not only because it’s an other  gender that I also have to be open about in the fashion industry and world, but also because Nordic Man radiates a more edgy, but still elegant mens magazine, and it’s an international media. ;-)

Nikon Blogger Event

Last week, 15 danish bloggers and I were invited to a NIKON blogger event/workshop. We were welcomed with great foods and professional Nikon enthusiast as well as prominent photographers… They let us in on all the cool settings Nikon has developed and how we can used this as an inspiration on our blogs! Then we were teamed up, and I got the honor of being creative with Louise (bloggger behind Guldlog.dk) and Cathrine (blogger behind Rockpaperdresses.dk) and, oh boy.. did we have fun taking pictures and playing with all kinds of different cameras.. big and small! Talking about small, take a look at the mini nikon camera (pic.5), how crazy is that?! It’s tiny and has a touch screen… SO cute! To sum it all up, I learned about positure and how to play with lighting settings… So, I had a great time and I learned many new things! OH, I almost forgot! Did I say that I have a CANON… Ooooops! A little akward.. ;-)

Not only was it a great event, but it got even more delicious, when they handed out goodiebags and The Sartorialist Closer by Scott Schuman(pic.7) was among the goodies! YAY!

Happy sunday guys! Here’s a recap from this friday. As I mentioned in my previous blog post, I was to attend the launch of Bisou, a new blogger forum for danish bloggers. A couple of my dearest friend,Rebecca Kryger Designer behind ALEXANDRA NORA and Katrine Drost owner of DEAR DENIER, whom I have mentioned several times in my blog joined me for a good time. YAY! It’s friday and we all know what that means…… FREEDOM!!! Here are a few inspirational pictures to get in the friday mood!

Later today I’m attending the launch of Bisou, a new and very kreative blogger forum that well inspire many fashionistas. Bisou consist of 6 danish bloggers with great style! I wouldn’t expect less since 2 of the bloggers are fashion editors(among other titles) for well know danish fashion magazines, while 3 of them are stylist (among other titles) and last but not least one of my good friend Melissa, sales manager for Wood Wood and blogger behind Feed My Ego… Sooo what I’m trying to say is …. I’m looking forward to their launch!

Pitti Fair, Italian Food And Flash mob

Hi Guys, so today I had another exciting day in lovely Florence! I had a meeting at 11am and after that I visited the Pitti Fair in Florence… Omg! First of all, the weather here is 40 degrees.. So hot! But still, people at the fair were looking extremely good and fashionable! I took loads of street style pictures with animal prints that I will show you when I get back! I even got a picture of the famous blogger The Sartoriolist.. Cool right!! And just before I left the fair there was a flash mob.. Fun stuff and not something you see everyday!

Later during the day, some friends and I had dinner.. I was crazy about their plates!

Now, I’m going to get ready for dinner! It’s my last night in Florence.. So we are going to have some fun!
