Later today I’m attending the launch of Bisou, a new and very kreative blogger forum that well inspire many fashionistas. Bisou consist of 6 danish bloggers with great style! I wouldn’t expect less since 2 of the bloggers are fashion editors(among other titles) for well know danish fashion magazines, while 3 of them are stylist (among other titles) and last but not least one of my good friend Melissa, sales manager for Wood Wood and blogger behind Feed My Ego… Sooo what I’m trying to say is …. I’m looking forward to their launch!

It’s a business and pleasure trip… I have a couple of meetings and I’m checking out the Pitti fair, but what I’m looking forward to the most is, visiting one of my dearest friend (practically the sister I never had) Christina! She lives in Florence and works as a buyer for GUCCI…. I know, I know! Envy right!
So once I’m going to ask for you patience, because I won’t be able to blog every day, since italy isn’t big on wifi, but I’ll do my best.

THE FRENCH FASHION QUEEN CARINE ROITFELD, previous Editor-in-Chief at Vogue Paris, revealed last week to Womens Wear Daily that she was flying to New York to work on her first editon of her own magazine. She hasn’t given the media any details to wether it will be a magazine or a book… On thing has been confirmed - She wants a “clean Look” and to begin with, the magazine/book will only be published twice a year. Carine Roitfeld’s fashion bibel is set to be launched in September! I’m a huge fan of Carine Roitfeld and her creative mind… I will definitely be subscribing to her magazine or book!

Vogue Cover With Carine Roitfeld. Sketch
I came across a blog called ‘Humor Chic’. The Blogger, Alexsandro Palombo, is a daily society portrait blogger and the best at illustrated fashion chronicles. I found some of his humoristic Vogue covers with well known and respected designer, Karl Lagefeld (Chanel). The provocative photographe Terry Richardson and fashion Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour (Vogue US) and former Editor-in-Chief Carine Roitfeld (Vogue French). I think that they are edgy with ought being vulgar and still remaining respect for the individuals.
What do you think about these illustrations by Alexsandro Palombo?

Carine Roitfield is a legendary stylist and former editor-in-chief at French Vogue and a huge inspiration, I think, to all of us fashionistas!! La Femme Parisienne, which she definitely is to the finger tips! Always seems to keep us entertained, curious and anxious for more! Well, that’s how I feel…
Quote by Carine Roitfeld - “Fashion,” says Roitfeld, “is not about clothes, it is about a look.”
