Vogue Paris

Ouch! That’s Pointy(lishess)..

Pristine earrings – 18ct. gold with 236 black diamonds.

Mawi London manchette – Hematite plated with black crystals

Bernard Delettrez  - Double finger ring in bronze.

Elise Dray bracelet – White gold with white and black diamonds.

Ileana Makri ring – Rose gold with diamonds.

I must say!… These amazing pieces are pointylishess!! I’m not at all religious, but I would consider believing in something if I knew that these beautiful pieces would miraculously fall from the sky…

Wishful thinking I know! ;-)

Dragon Inspired Jewelry…. It Says It All!

Bernard Delettrez ring – wood and 18ct. gold

Elise Dray earrings – White gold with white and black diamonds.

Henri J Silliam ring – Rubies, tsavorites and white gold.

Les Néréides earrings – metal.

Roberto Coin bracelet – Yellow gold, rubies and diamonds.

Did you know that 2012 was marked the passage in the Chinese Zodiac year of the dragon. The Dragon sign represents harmony and prosperity. A totem animal as attractive as dangerous…. I’m completely seduced by the amazing pieces!

Carine Roitfeld Is Flying to New York To Work On Her Own Style Bibel!

THE FRENCH FASHION QUEEN CARINE ROITFELD, previous Editor-in-Chief at Vogue Paris, revealed last week to Womens Wear Daily that she was flying to New York to work on her first editon of her own magazine. She hasn’t given the media any details to wether it will be a magazine or a book… On thing has been confirmed - She wants a “clean Look” and to begin with, the magazine/book will only be published twice a year. Carine Roitfeld’s fashion bibel is set to be launched in September! I’m a huge fan of Carine Roitfeld and her creative mind… I will definitely be subscribing to her magazine or book!

So here I am, sitting inside and working my but off  (don’t get me wrong I LOVE what I do), while the only thing on my mind is SUNHINE, BEACH, SUMMER ENSEMBLES, GOOD FOODS and much much more….

I was browsing the net for inspiration and reading my usual blogs and fashion updates, when I came across this incredible photo editorial of Magdalena Frackowiak by Lachlan Bailey for Vogue Paris (April 2012) and my erge for a vacation rised to the roof!!!

Isn’t she gorgeous? The location seems breathtaking!

Vogue Cover Sketches With Humor / Karl Lagerfeld / Carine Roitfeld / Anna Wintour / Terry Richardson / Alexsandro Palombo

Vogue Cover With Carine Roitfeld. Sketch

I came across a blog called ‘Humor Chic’. The Blogger, Alexsandro Palombo, is a daily society portrait blogger and the best at illustrated fashion chronicles. I found some of his humoristic Vogue covers with well known and respected designer, Karl Lagefeld (Chanel). The provocative photographe Terry Richardson and fashion Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour (Vogue US) and former Editor-in-Chief Carine Roitfeld (Vogue French). I think that they are edgy with ought being vulgar and still remaining respect for the individuals.

What do you think about these illustrations by Alexsandro Palombo?
